“He said, ‘We have a tryout next week, if you can work it out with your people, I’ll invite you to that.’ I was like, ‘oh, I was free next week, I was going to have a vacation.’ So I flew home on Sunday, back to Orlando on Tuesday, tryouts on Wednesday, on Thursday, I impressed them. They basically offered me a contract right there.”
