In the most recent edition of Raw presented by WWE, Kevin Owens had Seth Rollins as a guest of The Kevin Owens Show and there they both celebrated their friendship, although at the last minute there was kind of a friendly confrontation between them.
Kevin Owens: “I admire you so much, from the bottom of my heart. I admire from your outfits… tonight you look fantastic. But do you know what I admire most? Your career. Your career! People don’t realize how much guts Seth Rollins has to go on SmackDown and come face to face with the Boss of the Table. Because Roman may be called that, but you, Seth, are the man who prepares the table.

Seth Rollins: “You’re right. And I can tell you that Roman is scared. He’s scared! And he sent his cousins, the Usos, to beat me up. But they couldn’t do their job. Beating him at the Royal Rumble will be like taking candy from a baby. A baby Roman Reigns, that will be when I take away the Universal Championship and bring him back to our show, Monday Night Raw ».
Owens: «Will you stay on Raw with me when you win the Universal Championship? So we don’t need Brock Lesnar or Bobby Lashley because there is you! »
Rollins: «We are going to get rid of Brock Lesnar. And I have a fight later with Bobby Lashley, so maybe I’ll get him out of the way as well.
Owens: «Wait… I have an announcement that no one could see and that will change the course of this company: I am officially inside the Royal Rumble Match 2022! And when I win the Royal Rumble and you beat Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, we will be able to give the WWE Universe the biggest main event in history at WrestleMania: Seth ‘Freaking’ Rollins vs. Kevin ‘Freaking’ Owens”.
In that they were interrupted by Damian Priest, the WWE United States Champion. And Rollins and Owens got pretty mad at Priest, who told Rollins and Owens to shut up. and called them “delusional idiots” and that nobody on the planet believes that Rollins can beat Reigns and that Owens can win the Royal Rumble and announced an immediate fight with Owens as ordered by Adam Pearce.
