GCW and WWE would be in talks for a possible alliance

Changes are coming for GCW. The indie company, owned by Brett Lauderdalehas been in the news recently after the Wrestling Observer Newsletter will report today that Game Changer Wrestling has “something going” regarding a relationship with WWE.

It all started last Monday, when joey janela took to Twitter to post the following comment prior to the Monday Night Raw broadcast: “To everyone at GCW Wrestling, in case you missed our email, please promote WWE Raw tonight!” Because of this comment, Nick Hausmannsenior news editor at wrestling inc.contacted the fighter, who replied: “We can’t talk about it. sorry Nick“.

Despite not commenting on it, Janela returned to social networks today, stating that there will be “big news about the WrestleMania Weekend” this weekend in regards to GCW collective events, which typically take place near the city that hosts WWE’s biggest event of the year. It should be remembered that WrestleMania 39 will be held next April from the SoFi stadium, in the Hollywood area, in Los Angeles.

On the other hand, Hausman also contacted the owner of GCW regarding the recent rumors. “Of course, we are aware of the speculation and rumors surrounding GCW at this time,” Lauderdale noted. “We are very excited about the future of GCW, which includes a number of exciting partnerships, as well as a game-changing announcement in regards to how people will be able to stream and watch GCW events in the future.. We will make the first of many announcements this Saturday during the GCW event in Detroit, which will be broadcast live on FiteTV.”

It should be noted that Lauderdale has posted several tweets recently noting how expects WWE President Stephanie McMahon to lend Omos to GCW events, as he is “in the thick of it” in rebooting the Nigerian’s character. We will have to see how far a possible agreement or alliance between the two companies can go and how it would be carried out.
