During tonight’s WWE SmackDown show It was announced that Edge will return next week to the blue brand program after he came out on a stretcher at the Madison Square Garden show after his match with Seth Rollins.
Edge will return to WWE SmackDown next week
After being threatened by Seth Rollins, Edge will return to SmackDown next week.
Edge posted a tweet tonight announcing that he will appear on next Friday’s SmackDown. It will be the first time that Edge has appeared from the angle where he was removed on a stretcher after the match between the two at Madison Square Garden.

On tonight’s SmackDown, Rollins said he doesn’t want to wait any longer for Edge. Rollins said Edge will be performing on SmackDown next week and telling the whole world that Rollins is superior to him in every way and is the man responsible for ending Edge’s career. Rollins said that if Edge doesn’t do that, he will find Edge where he sleeps and will get those words out of Edge in front of his wife and kids.
Edge and Rollins are 1-1 with each other in singles matches. Edge defeated Rollins at SummerSlam, but Rollins won when they met on SmackDown at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.
Next week’s SmackDown show will take place at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore. It will be the first night of this year’s WWE Draft. The draft will conclude on the following Monday’s episode of Raw.
