Triple Crown Champion Alexa Bliss was one of the most anticipated stars to appear in the PPV Royal Rumblehowever this was not the case. Dave Meltzer explains why WWE decided that the fighter would not be part of the fight of 30 competitors.
Alexa returned to WWE but we haven’t seen her compete yet
The last time we could see Alexa Bliss in a fight was at the Money In The Bank PPV held on July 18, 2021 at the Dickies Arena in the city of Fort Worth, Texas. There she faced the Champion Charlotte Flair who was in charge of defeating her and destroy his beloved doll ‘Lilly’.
The loss affected ‘Lexi’ too much, who only appeared again until a month ago to start her ‘road back to RAW’, which has consisted of a series of segments in which the fighter attends psychological therapy in order to overcome ‘Lilly’. In fact, this segment was divided into several parts during yesterday’s RAW episode and in them we could see that the professional gave Alexa a replica of the doll, which brought the former Champion a lot of happiness.

Alexa Bliss’s storyline would have been the reason she did not participate in the Women’s Royal Battle
Bliss was the favorite of many fans to win the Rumble that ultimately favored the ‘Baddest Woman on the Planet’ Ronda Rousey, even Booker T himself confessed that Alexa was his favorite for the Royal Battle, however she did not appear there. According to Dave Meltzer’s statements on ‘Wrestling Observer Radio’, the reason WWE left ‘Lexi’ out of the fight is her current storyline:
“She was supposed to be at the Rumble too, but I guess they decided that would get in the way of what they’re doing.” assured.
Alexa reacted in an interesting way to Ronda Rousey’s victorywe’ll see if she somehow ends up involved in a rivalry with her.
