Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE Championship against Randy Orton at Extreme Rules 2021

During broadcasts of Monday Night RAW via USA Network, it has been announced that Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE Championship against Randy Orton at Extreme Rules 2021, the company’s next pay-per-view.

RK-Bro opened this week’s episode in Miami reviewing his title win over MVP and Bobby Lashley last week. The latter came on stage to launch an individual challenge to Randy Orton. “The Viper” was not content with just challenging “The All Mighty”, and He proposed that the heads-up was for the maximum WWE title.

Bobby Lashley accepted his opponent’s request and the match was made official several hours later by commentators. Let’s remember that “The All Mighty “is champion since Monday Night RAW of March 1 at the WWE Thunderdome. Secondly, Randy Orton to seek his fourteenth world title after having held his last reign last year on his way to Survivor Series 2020.

WWE Extreme Rules 2021 will take place on Sunday, September 26 from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Fans will be able to witness this event live within the venue, or through WWE Network (Peacock in the United States) and via pay-per-view. Here is the updated billboard for the show to date.
