During broadcasts of Monday Night RAW via USA Network, the superstar Austin Theory was named as Rey Mysterio’s replacement for the classic elimination match at Survivor Series 2021, WWE’s next pay-per-view.
The main event of the red show in Indianapolis saw Rey Mysterio being savagely defeated by Bobby Lashley. The masked man ended up out of combat with the Full Nelson shortly before Adam Pearce left the scene. The WWE general manager opted to remove Mysterio from the interpromotional elimination match, leaving a space that would fill quickly after Austin Theory attacked Dominik. Pearce named Theory as the new partner of Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, and Finn Bálor.
WWE Survivor Series 2021 will take place on Sunday, November 21 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Fans will be able to witness this event live inside the venue, or through WWE Network (Peacock in the United States) and pay-per-view. Here is the updated billboard for the show to date.
