AEW Dynamite Report 4/13 – Samoa Joe is crowned the new ROH TV champion

AEW Dynamite was held on Wednesday night from New Orleans.




CM Punk defeated Dark Penta (with Alex Abrahantes) with the GTS.

Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus (c) (with Christian Cage) defeated reDRagon (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish)
After the match, O’Reilly attacked the champions with a chair. FTR came out and raised their belts, exchanging glances with both reDRagon and the champions.

Shawn Dean defeated MJF (with Shawn Spears) by count out when Wardlow appeared behind MJF in the stands wearing an AEW staff shirt and mask. He chased MJF up the ramp and Spears hit him with a chair, which Wardlow barely felt. Security ran to stop Wardlow, but Wardlow ran through them.

Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager and Daniel Garcia) defeated Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz

Marina Shafir defeated Skye Blue

Dan Lambert and the Men of the Year were backstage. Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti were called. It will be Sky vs. Guevara for the TNT title at Battle of the Belts.




Team Taz (Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs) defeated Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland

Thunder Rosa was backstage, but Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero interrupted with a cake to celebrate Rosa’s “shortest title reign in the world.” Rosa put the cake in Rose’s face and they got into a fight.

Samoa Joe defeated Minoru Suzuki (c) to win the ROH TV Title when he hit the Muscle Buster to win.

After the match, Lethal and Dutt said they had a surprise for Joe. The lights went out in the arena. In the ring appeared Satnam Singh, the former basketball player, who was making his television debut. Singh positioned Joe and worked alongside Lethal and Dutt, applying a vise to Joe’s skull.
