AEW Dynamite beats RAW in demo and marks second best all-time data

AEW Dynamite continues to grow and surpasses Monday Night Raw in the demo for the first time in its history.

AEW is having a sweet time. The recent additions of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Adam Cole are paying off and more and more fans are taking an interest in the All Elite Wrestling product. So much so that this week’s show has once again surpassed the million mark and has become one of the most followed in history.

The specialized medium, Wrestlenomics, has revealed that the Dynamite of September 8 has been followed by nothing more and nothing less than 1,319,000 viewers. The second best data in the history of the company. But the highlight of all is that for the first time they manage to surpass Monday Night Raw in the 18-49 age demographic with 681,000 viewers versus 678,000 for the WWE show.

With these data, AEW is getting closer and closer to Raw, which lately only manages to overcome the 2 million barrier on special occasions. It remains to be seen if this is enough for Vince McMahon to start taking an interest in AEW or if on the contrary he will continue with the current strategy of ignoring everything that happens outside of WWE.
