Spotify will name the Camp Nou for 12 seasons!

Spotify will name the Camp Nou a minimum of 12 seasons. This was revealed this Thursday by RAC1. After the sponsorship agreement between Barça and Spotify became official a couple of weeks ago, it was already known that the name of the Swedish company will appear on the front of the first team and men’s shirts for the next four seasons, in those of training of both teams for three courses and that the Stadium will be called ‘Spotify Camp Nou’, but the Catalan station revealed the duration of the agreement for the ‘Naming Rights’. He also confirmed several of the sponsorship figures, previously unknown officially, due to a confidentiality clause in the contract. Everything, pending ratification this coming Sunday in the Telematics Assembly.

According to information from RAC1, Spotify, the world’s most popular streaming audio subscription service, will pay €5 million per season for the four years that the works of the Espai Barçaand 20 millionalso per year, the remaining eight seasons. Namely, 160 million for these 12 years in which the Camp Nou will carry the name of Spotify.

In addition, the figures for the sponsorship of the shirts were also detailed: 60 million euros each of the four years in the main kitsincluding the first team and men’s, and 5 million for the three years in the training.

In total, then, the club will have insured a total of €255 million for the sponsorship of the t-shirts and twenty by the ‘Naming Rights’ while the playsfour years, to which must be added 160 million more of the ‘Naming Rights’ during eight seasons.
