Rueda, in trouble: Premier player would fall from the call

Bittersweet day for Reinaldo Rueda in the Colombian Selection. While waiting for what will be his call for the triple round of Qualifying, everything seems to indicate that two of those who would have on the list may not be due to injuries.

The most recent case occurred this Monday in the Premier League …

Brighton drew 1-1 in their visit to Crystal Palace thanks to a goal from Neal Maupay in the 95th minute and suffered a slowdown in their aspirations to oust Liverpool from first place in the Premier.

With a Vaseline on Vicente Guaita, who until the 95th minute had emerged as one of the best in the Palace, Maupay saved a valuable point for the interests of Brigton, who rowed against the current for much of the game due to a penalty from the Ivorian Wilfried Zaha.

The team in which Steven Alzate plays squandered a golden opportunity to occupy the leadership of the English league. It was partly to blame for Guaita, who although he missed Brighton’s goal after throwing a fatal kick that started the rival’s play, starred in two prodigious interventions. Two men suffered: Danny Welbeck Lewis Dunk.

The Colombian midfielder was in the news because he could barely spend 19 minutes on the court. Despite starting on the substitute bench, coach Graham Potter decided to send him to the field for the second half.

Everything was going well until Ayew fell on him, while they disputed the possession of the ball. Once he received medical attention, the signs of pain in his left ankle were noticeable and Potter himself had to replace it. The good thing is that he was able to come out on his own, but it is still alarming just 10 days after the match against Uruguay.

For now, the medical report of Brighton or, failing that, the final list of Rueda is expected.
