PACHUCA – The Uruguayan coach Paulo pezzolano was ceased from Tuzos del Pachuca, after failing to qualify for the Liguilla with Hidalgo’s team in the Apertura 2021.

“By means of the present, the Board of Directors of the Pachuca Club informs that by mutual agreement it has been decided that Professor Paulo Pezzolano will leave the position of Technical Director of the Pachuca Club”, reported the blue and white team on their social networks.

The Uruguayan coach reached the Tuzos in Clausura 2020, after having experience in Torque and Liverpool in his country. In Pachuca he was four tournaments and on two occasions he managed to qualify for the Liguilla.

In the Clausura 2021 he shone when he reached the semifinals, after beating America in that way, he fell to the Blue Cross, which in the end was champion of the contest.

Pezzolano, in the current tournament, could barely reach fifteenth place in the table, after adding 18 points, which triggered his departure from the Hidalgo team.

“We deeply appreciate their professionalism towards the institution, which was reflected in the participation of two league groups, including a semifinal and with the consolidation of players such as Erick Sánchez, Luis Chávez, Kevin Álvarez, Bryan González and Roberto de la Rosa, as well as the debut of 12 homegrown players from our basic forces ”, explained the Tuzos.
