The inclusion of André, Pierre Gignac and Thauvin, plus the absence of Boubacar Kamara were points that the fans criticized about France’s call for the Olympics
The France team that will participate in the Tokyo Olympics public this Friday the list of footballers who will attend the Asian fair and an important sector of the French fans harshly criticized the call for Sylvain Ripoll.
Through their Twitter account, ‘Les Bleus’ revealed the names that will seek to get the gold medal for France and many users described the list as “disgusting” and “shameful” while others were not surprised by the calls to Tokyo when pointing out that with Ripoll as a coach “we won’t get that far.”
Most of the reactions of French followers on social networks to the list were negative, although several fans highlighted the inclusion of Tigres players, André-Pierre Gignac and Florian Thauvin, who are part of the reinforcements.
One of the points most questioned by the French fans is the absence of the player Boubacar Kamara from Marseille. although some users indicated that not all clubs wanted to lend their players.
France will debut at the Tokyo Olympics against Mexico on July 22. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 am in Mexico City.
