Brake to Endrick

The palm trees moves for prevent Real Madrid and the other great Europeans (United, City…) that are behind the new Brazilian pearl, Endrick (15 years old), can take him away as soon as he turns 16 next July. The Brazilian entity plan to shield it in summer. “The next step will be to sign a professional contract as soon as I am 16”, explained Federico Pena, the player’s agent, in balloonsport. “I have no doubt that this is what will happen, there is no other option. Why would he want to leave Palmeiras, who was the one who bet on him?.

The key is that this new contract will put Endrick out of the immediate reach of the giants of the old continent. Or at the very least, it will make it difficult. Right now, being under 16, he cannot sign as a professional, but he has a training contract in force until 2024 that can only be broken by paying a fine of 110 million reais, around 18 million euros to change. A risky price for a footballer with a lot of projection and more after his role in the last Copinha, but who is still of Cadet age…

“The bases of the professional contract are not yet defined”, says Pena, “but that is the next step and follow the sports project at Palmeiras”.

The idea that is transmitted, in the Brazilian media, is that both the Endrick environment and Palmeiras will be closing in the coming months all the details about that new contract. The clause that will begin to come into force will be unattainable for Brazilian clubs (the current one already is) and only within the reach of the big ones in Europe within the examples marked by similar transfers in the past: from Gabriel Jesús, who also left Palmeiras and cost City 32 million when he was still 17 years old, to the cases of Rodrygo (€40M) and Vinicius (45M) to Madrid.

Soccer players who serve as a framework to glimpse what future this new situation may hold for Endrick in which he has become the most sought-after young Brazilian talent in his country.
