the two-time champion Atlas grabbed the spotlight during the gala of the Golden Ball on the MX League corresponding to the 2021-22 season, as six awards were given to five of its players and one more to the team coach.
In the Liga MX Femenil, the best player of the season was Alice Cervantes of Chivasthanks to his 36 goals during the football cycle, the two-time scoring championship and the Clausura 2022 and Champion of Champions trophies.
They were also recognized Aylin Avilez as Best Minor Player and Eve Mirror as best technical director, both of Monterey.
The Liga BBVA Expansion MX rewarded the experienced Atlante goalkeeper Humberto Hernandez and made it the first Ballon d’Or in the category.
The nominated soccer players of Liga MX for this edition are also the first summoned to the MLS All Star Game in which the MX League will participate with its best players for the second consecutive time, on August 10 in Minnesota, United States.
