Who to sit in Fantasy Football? – Week 6 NFL Season 2021

We are about to complete a third of our Fantasy Football leagues this NFL 2021 Season, and that is why we leave you the players that you must leave on the bench for week 6, the famous Sit’Em that can not be missing in our weekly roster planning.

Remember that it is not about them being bad players, but about the matchups or situations that they are going to face every week. These are the fine points that separate the winners in Fantasy Football leagues from the rest. So don’t be afraid to pull the trigger and bank these names, at least this week.

NOTE: Below the player you will find my specific point projections for this week. These projections are from the system (Non-PPR) and are conservative predictions.

Quarterbacks

Carson Wentz vs Houston Texans

Projection: 16 points

This game could be one where Jonathan Taylor has more than 20 carries, as we saw last season against the Jaguars in Week 17. The air volume will be very low for the Colts QB, so it is best to avoid Carson Wentz despite the apparent good matchup.

Daniel Jones vs Los Angeles Rams

Projection: 15 points

When Daniel Jones has been injured, he has played at a poor level. Last season, when he had a hamstring problem, he threw just 21 passes for 127 yards in Week 14, having the least productive game of the season. Let’s hope something similar when he faces this great defense that will make him suffer under pressure.

Running Backs

Chris Carson @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Projection: 6.2 points

Most likely, the Seahawks RB will return injured and with snaps counted. Last season, he was active in week 7 after resting for just a week and had only five snaps where he made five points. Unless he has full practice, he wouldn’t start Chris Carson confidently against a defense that will have a hard time getting the ball through.

Damien Williams vs Green Bay Packers

Projection: 6 points

The Bears’ RB was a great disappointment as he did not dominate in snaps as expected, but it was Khalil Herbert who commanded with the backfield and Williams was a fast offensive RB and clear passing situations. With this volume of play, I don’t expect Damien Williams to have a good game against an improved defense in the running game of the Packers and De’Vondre Campbell playing at a high level.

Wide Receivers

Sterling Shepard vs Los Angeles Rams

Projection: 5.8 points

He will return from injury and will quite possibly do so in a new WR2 role open in training. This is for the breakout history that Kadarius Toney had last week that will make him stay with the role of WR slot. You will surely have several matchups against Jalen Ramsey, plus his QB will be limited and under great pressure from defense. Things are not looking good for Sterling Shepard this week.

Cole Beasley @ Tennessee Titans

Projection: 5.5 points

This player is one of the biggest disappointments, as he has lowered his level in a worrying way. Last game was only involved in 53% of the team’s routes, this being an impossible number to produce in Fantasy Football. Don’t start Cole Beasley in this tricky matchup.

Tight Ends

Evan Engram vs Los Angeles Rams

Projection: 4.1 points

Even though last game had a decent performance, finishing like TE11, it is not possible to believe it will be continuous, as much of this production came when the Giants ran out of WR and the Cowboys were not defending the bottom zone. from the field. Evan Engram is nothing more than a low TE2, and less against the Rams.

Robert Tonyan @ Chicago Bears

Projection. 4 points

He had a decline in run routes and targets last game, being a candidate to be released. Nothing else was involved in 61% of the team’s routes, down from the previous week, where it had been 82%. Robert Tonyan is playing at a poor level and it will be difficult for his volume to return to what it was two weeks ago.
