Waivers Week 6 – Fantasy Stadium

With the debut of the bye weeks, the waivers of the following matchdays become even more important as they are the ones that will replace your starters in the starting lineups. With Kenneth Walker as the main option, I present the best options to shore up your team and correct the course in one of the last calls to contend for the Fantasy Football title.

Important note: Only those waivers that are available in more than 50% of normal NFL Fantasy leagues (12 players) will be included in this article. In the deep leagues section, Sleeper’s is used in the EF Bowl:

ELITE WAIVERS:

KENNETH WALKER (AVAILABLE IN 63%)

Every season there are one or two players that you take on waivers that completely change the course of your team, this year this player has all the appearance of being Kenneth Walker who until now is the most important player of the entire series of articles that we have produced . The Seahawks have one of the most explosive offenses in the entire NFL. with 0.120 EPA per play ranking fourth best and sixth best in EPA per carry. Yesterday the team showed that they are not afraid to give the keys to the Ferrari to this RB who managed with more than 80% of the snaps once Penny was out and with 100% of the carries. Run to spend more than 20% FAAB on this player.

RONDALE MOORE (AVAILABLE IN 98%)

The most repeated player in this article is this talented WR who I still don’t understand how he is still available in so many leagues with his talent for breaking away and producing after the catch. This is the last call to acquire him because this number will go down considerably when people find out that he had 21% target share and ran over 90% of the team’s routes.

MICHAEL GALLUP (AVAILABLE IN 62%)

This offense has a limited ceiling with Cooper Rush, but it’s still functional for Fantasy Football purposes so even next week Gallup should be a WR4 to consider in all leagues as he ran over 90% of routes and drove with more than 30% of the Cowboys’ target share. Let’s hope this number goes up when the team has to make more than 19 passing plays. Of course the madness comes once Dak Prescott is 100% recovered.

RACHAAD WHITE (AVAILABLE IN 97%)

Weekly he has managed in a bigger role and this player’s talent for receiving the ball should not be underestimated. In week 5 he drove for the first time in his career with 40% snaps and 41% routes taken which are very similar numbers to Tony Pollard. Gradually White will level him up even more and thus his effectiveness on these snaps will increase and he is a must have before this happens.

BIG UPSIDE

HAYDEN HURST (AVAILABLE AT 91%)

For the second week in a row Hurst dominated running more than 80% of routes run, it is essential to add him everywhere having an even greater potential to exploit in any game that Tee Higgins does not play. 23% target share for a TE is elite and you have to run to put your waiver for him.

ENO BENJAMIN (99% AVAILABLE)

Conner and Darrel Williams were injured so Benjamin handled absolutely all the offensive snaps and is a must especially if the aforementioned injuries make them miss week 6. Both receiving and running the ball, Benjamin has shown a sensational talent and with a volume boost can be a great addition.

NICO COLLINS (AVAILABLE IN THE 99%)

For the first time this season, Nico Collins ran more than 90% of the team’s routes which is vital to consider a player from an unproductive offense. Last week he was not only on every snap but he also managed 21% of the team’s targets and the same percentage on running route targets.

EVAN ENGRAM (AVAILABLE AT 83%)

The Jaguars’ TE drove over 80% of the team’s routes and was highly sought after by Trevor Lawrence with 23% targets per route driven. In an offense that often passes the ball, Engram is a vital part because of his ability to rack up yards after the catch.

HIGH FLOOR

ZAY JONES (AVAILABLE AT 90%)

Although the last game was disappointing if we take into account only the Fantasy points, the use of Zay Jones gives all Fantasy Football players a safe ground of 90% routes run and normally 20% targets per route run. . This always translates to a high ground needed in medium sized leagues.

JAYLEN WARREN (AVAILABLE IN THE 99%)

For the first time this season, Warren dominated the backfield with 51% of the snaps, mostly because the Steelers were down and playing two-minute offenses the entire second half. We shouldn’t expect anything sensational from Warren because in normal situations Harris will get more than 70% snaps. His upside comes in the event of an injury because of Pittsburgh’s willingness to give him the ball.

RANDALL COBB (AVAILABLE AT 97%)

Every time I watch Randall Cobb play I can’t help but think of how he looks like a 25-year-old WR with tremendous speed and the ability to break away from opponents. He is without a doubt Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target with 41% (!) targets per route run (highest numbers in the entire league) and 33% target share despite not running all of the team’s routes. Without Christian Watson his numbers may be even better. Cobb has 2.39 rushing yards being the twelfth best WR in the entire NFL, go for him on waivers now.

BOOM OR BUST OPTIONS

TAYSOM HILL (85% AVAILABLE)

It’s really hell for me this guy who goes against proven utilization theory and just scores points on too few snaps makes you think he’s not sustainable, but as talented as he is, he probably is. He’s worth putting on your waiver list as one of the best ball-runners in the entire league with an established role in the red zone who can play an incredibly volatile position like TE.

CADE OTTON (AVAILABLE IN 100%)

With Cam Brate’s injury, this player broke out running more than 80% of routes and driving with 14% target share and 15% targets per route run. Should Brate miss any more time, it’s worth going for this player who is sure to have better matches and produce more with this incredible volume.

KADARIOUS TONEY (AVAILABLE IN 67%)

The Giants’ WRs are David Sills, Richie James and Marcus Johnson currently. Fate forces Brian Daboll to use this great weapon to produce more than previously designed plays. Right now his value is on the ground and you have to go for him if you have a space left over on your roster and he is available because he has talent and plenty of being Top 5 in 2021 in separation and production after the reception.

TYLER ALLGEIER (AVAILABLE IN 62%)

This is a boom or bust bet because he dominates with 60% of the team’s snaps, but a committee of three RBs are closely following him stealing most short yardage snaps and first downs, plus he didn’t have a single snap on offense for two minutes. To this we must add that this offense is missing Damien Williams who was an important part at the beginning of the season dominating in carries. The boom comes considering that with his talent he can take off and leave Damien Williams and the other RBs aside.

ALEC PIERCE (AVAILABLE IN THE 99%)

This WR grabbed most of the spotlight Thursday night producing 2.33 yards rushing. He was an important part of the Colts offense as he had 25% running route targets and target share as well. If he can run even more routes, Pierce will have a blast with his ability to always be open and will be indispensable on Week 7 waivers.

GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO PRODUCE

DONOVAN PEOPLES-JONES (AVAILABLE AT 80%)

Driving the same Amari Cooper routes and 20% target share, Peoples-Jones’ Fantasy points have to come sooner or later. If you need a WR sleeper that can produce, this player may be the answer.

NICK WESTBROOK-IKHINE (AVAILABLE IN 94%)

With Treylon Burks injured, this player completely dominated the team’s routes and was second only to Robert Woods in targets. There was a lot of preseason buzz about this guy just throwing all the balls 50/50 in his direction and with these opportunities he has everything to produce and be a good waivers option in deep leagues.

DARTS IN DEEP LEAGUES

  • Tre’Quan Smith (99%): In case Olave and Michael Thomas don’t play, Smith has proven in two of the last three weeks to be the WR who gets thrown the most by dominating the team in those weeks in straight-route targets.
  • Olamide Zaccheaus (97%): Arthur Smith loves to rotate his players and last week Zaccheaus dominated this offense in every possible stat. In very deep leagues you have to play with the statistical deviation.
  • Trent Sherfield (100%): With Tyreek Hill’s injury, Sherfield was the team’s WR2 and one of the Dolphins’ favorite weapons because of his familiarity with Mike McDaniel’s system.
  • Marcus Johnson (100%): This player showed in 2021 how talented he is with few snaps on the Titans. He is currently the WR1 of the Giants in running routes and the targets should not take long to arrive.

HYPE PLAYERS TO AVOID:

  • Tevin Coleman: You should only go for him in leagues where Eno Benjamin isn’t outright available and better WRs aren’t available since with less than 30% snaps it’s impossible for his production to be consistent.
  • Dyami Brown: At 37% routes run it’s impossible to produce anything decent on fantasy football lands and there’s no way he’s going to get more routes from WRs above him.
  • Khalil Shakir: He only had an expanded role due to the absence of Jamison Crowder and Isaiah McKenzie, once they return we probably won’t see him.

These are the Waivers for Week 6, who would you add?
