Von Miller out for entire NFL season with Bills due to surgery

Von Miller, linebacker for the NFL Buffalo Billswill miss the rest of the 2022 NFL season after this Wednesday he underwent a surgery on the right knee to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

The linebacker was injured late in the second quarter in his team’s win over the Detroit Lions in week 12.

The DeSoto native, Texas, underwent exploratory surgery in which the cruciate ligament injury was discovered anterior in the right knee.

Buffalo had hoped for its player’s recovery after having him on the disabled list in last week’s game against the New England Patriots, there was even hope that he would return for next Sunday’s game against the New York Jets, something that was ruled out this Wednesday.

Von Miller signed with the Bills in March. a six-year contract in exchange for $120 million.

The 33-year-old was an important part of the Los Angeles Rams defense that won Super Bowl LVI in February of this year, Miller’s second title of his career.
