Future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady is hands down the GOAT (greatest of all time) in the sport of football.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneer firmly cemented their legacy (once again) during Super Bowl LV, in which the team defeated favorites Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. As always, never bet against TB12.
But aside from his impressive collection of Super Bowl rings (he now has seven), sports fans and athletes are in awe of Tom’s mastery of the game at his age. Since professional football is a contact sport that requires players to be at the top of their game, many NFL athletes typically retire in their 30s. However, the No. 12 is the exception to this rule and has played at the highest level for the first half of his forties.
So when will Tom retire? After an official statement confirming his retirement, he seems to have changed his mind.

Tom Brady has previously said he would consider retiring at age 45 because of his family.
Aside from winning the Super Bowl (seven times), marrying his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen and raising their children are probably his greatest accomplishments.
“My children and my family are undoubtedly very important, and they made many sacrifices over a long period of time to see me play. So, you know, I owe them too,” he said in a July 2021 interview with SiriusXM Town Hall, referring to his wife and children, Benjamin, 11, Vivian, 8, and son John “Jack.” Edward, 14, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
“Things change as you get older, and there are a lot of different responsibilities that I have in my life,” she added.
