Steelers break 3-game losing streak in best of week 5

The week 5 of the 2021 NFL season had exciting matches and surprising results, where the most striking duel was the rematch of the 2020 American Conference Championship Game.

The New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers they broke their respective negative streaks on Sunday.

Falcons win the London duel

The NFL returned to London, Great Britain, after two years of absence and although the rivals that faced did not come well, they gave a show for the European public.

The Atlanta Falcons defeated the New York Jets 27-20 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium; Atlanta QB Matt Ryan shone in the game, throwing for 342 yards and two touchdown passes.

Steelers beat the Broncos

After losing their last three games, the Steelers returned to winning ways in Week 5; they beat the Denver Broncos 27-19 for their second win of the 2021 season.

Running back Najee Harris (142 total yards and two touchdowns) and wide receiver Chase Claypool (five catches for 130 yards and one touchdown) were instrumental in the Steelers’ victory.

Patriots rally in Houston

The Patriots scored 16 unanswered points at the close of the game to earn a 25-22 win over the Houston Texans.

It’s the Patriots’ second win in 2021, all on the road, and they break a two-game losing streak.

Packers suffer with the Bengals

In a game where five consecutive field goals were missed between the fourth quarter and overtime, the Green Bay Packers came out with a 25-22 victory at the home of the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Packers reach a 4-1 mark in the 2021 season and remain the leaders of the northern division of the National Conference.

Dallas defeats Giants and keeps up the good work

Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot made a good dumbbell for Dallas to crush the New York Giants 44-20.

The Vaqueros quarterback threw for 302 yards, three touchdown passes and an interception. While Elliot ran for 110 yards and scored a couple of times.

Los Angeles and Cleveland star in a close duel

The game between both teams registered the heaviest score of Week 5. Los Angeles took advantage of their home to beat Cleveland 47-42, in addition to registering 26 points in the last quarter.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert posted a great performance by throwing for 398 yards, leaving four touchdowns, two of which were crystallized by running back Austin Ekeler, who scored another on his own.

Rain interrupts Bills’ game against Chiefs

The interruption of more than an hour due to rain and a thunderstorm did not prevent the Buffaloes from defeating Kansas City 38-20.

The game suspended minutes before the beginning of the third quarter, when the boards were 24-13 in favor of the Bills.

Josh Allen, the Buffalo quarterback, threw for 315 yards with three touchdowns including, for his part, Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, had 272 yards with two touchdowns, in addition to suffering two interceptions.

Arizona confirms that it is the best team of the season

Arizona defeated San Francisco 17-10 and became the best team of the season by registering its fifth victory and remaining undefeated.

Kyler Murray, Arizona quarterback, threw for 239 yards and scored a touchdown, meanwhile, San Francisco’s Trey Lance debuted due to the injury of Jimmy Garoppolo and achieved 192 yards.
