When the fog over Foxborough lifted, it was all over for New England. The Patriots’ journey to another Super BowHe was interrupted early by Derrick Henry and the Titans.
The kind of finals reserved for Tom Brady and the dynasty that he formed in New England was captured by Henry who rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown.
On his 26th birthday, Henry celebrated with a triumph and a memorable performance. Never has a player rushed more yards against a team coached by Bill Belichcik during a postseason game than Henry did. Tennessee’s American Muscle Car never stopped in his tracks and propelled his team forward from the wild card round.
The Titans defense limited Brady and his arm full of Super Bowl rings. The mystique of the New England quarterback did not appear this Saturday night when falling 20-13 with the Titans.
Brady’s contract with New England has come to an end, he has said he wants to play until he is 45 years old, but we don’t know if he will continue to do it dressed as Pat.
“I love the Patriots,” said Brady, 42, adding about leaving the game after 20 seasons: “I’d say it’s pretty unlikely, hopefully unlikely. I love playing soccer. I don’t know what moving forward will look like. . “
The top scorer Saturday night was Henry, who had a total of 184 rushing yards in two postseason games two years ago. He almost did that against the best defense in the league by propelling the Titans to the divisional round.

Tannehill led the NFL with a career-best 117.5 passer rating and averaging 9.6 yards per pass attempt. But he didn’t do much Saturday night in his first postseason game: 8 of 15 for 72 yards.

Brady completed 20 of 36 passes for 209 yards, and did not throw a touchdown pass.. He threw an interception returned for a score by Logan Ryan as he set out to put together a last comeback attempt, with 9 seconds left.
The afternoon was sad at Foxborough, after many days of joy.
