Relief in the Chargers for Herbert’s fracture in cartilage and not in the rib

Sports Writing, Sep 16 (EFE) .- The coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, Brandon Staley, declared himself relieved this Friday that his ‘quarterback’ Justin Herbert was diagnosed with a rib cartilage fracture and not, as he feared, in the rib.

“We received good news in terms of what the CT showed. It’s definitely good news because you don’t want your quarterback to have a bone injury in the second game of the season,” Staley told a conference call.

“It will all come down to how you progress. We’ll have to make sure he’s comfortable this week. We must go day by day, because we cannot know how he will feel later, ”she detailed.
