This Thursday, October 21, Week 7 of the 2021 season begins in National Football League (NFL), which will close on Monday 25 with the duel of the New York Giants, one of the worst teams of the campaign, visiting Kansas city chiefs and his figure, Patrick Mahomes.

Sadly, the last finalist of the Super Bowl LV has not carried out a campaign up to expectations in the American Conference, with an irregular record of three wins and three losses, and with enough criticism to the performance of the quarterback.

It turns out that so far this 2021 NFL season, Mahomes has a total of 167 passes completed in 242 attempts, with an effectiveness of 69 percent, to travel 1,887 yards with 18 touchdowns, being the leader of the league, but with a worrying record: eight interceptions, their worst number in three years.

In fact, the quarterback emerged in Texas Tech is among the three players with the most blocked passes in the tournament, only being surpassed by two rookies: Zach Wilson, from New York Jets with nine; and Trevor lawrence, from Jacksonville Jaguars with eight.

With these numbers, Mahomes is very far from the race to be the Most valuable Player of NFL 2021, a career that the legend commands Tom brady (leader with 2,064 passing yards and second in assists with 17), Kyler murray (1st among passers qualified with 73.8% completion percentage) and Dak prescott (with 73.1% effectiveness and a rating of 115.0 points).
