After what happened in week 9 of the 2021 NFL Season, we have new NFL Power Rankings, now for week 10.
1. Arizona Cardinals
Record: 8-1
Previous position: 5 (+4)
Between the defeats of the other teams – and the great performance they gave with their substitutes – it is impossible to deny the first place to the Cardinals, who for the moment are thinking about home for the playoffs.
2. Tennessee Titans
Record: 7-2
Previous position: 8 (+6)
The reason for bringing them down last week was simple: Derrick Henry’s absence. Now that they have shown that they can win without it, it is difficult to think that they will fall a lot in our Power Rankings.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Record: 6-2
Previous position: 6 (+3)
It is impossible to think of a better week for the Buccaneers: They lose the Packers, Rams and Cowboys and have to face Washington. The tide is in favor of the champions.
4. Los Angeles Rams
Record: 7-2
Previous position: 1 (-3)
Things didn’t turn out the way the Rams expected against the Titans, and now it’s up to them to correct the path to keep intact the possibility of being the best team in the NFC.
5. Green Bay Packers
Record: 7-2
Previous position: 2 (-3)
Let’s face it: with Aaron Rodgers things would have been very different this week. This team is still very good despite the dramas that surround it.
6. Baltimore Ravens
Record: 6-2
Previous position: 7 (+1)
Winning is good, and the Ravens do it consistently, but the result against the Vikings left a lot to be desired. Mind you, they look pretty stable in a volatile AFC.
7. Dallas Cowboys
Record: 6-2
Previous position: 4 (-3)
The loss to Denver is a reminder of previous years in Dallas: great expectations begin to be raised and the painful defeat arrives. The good news is that we are in week 9, so there is time to correct before reaching the playoffs.
8. Buffalo Bills

A couple of months ago, the Bills were considered the best team in the NFL. Today they are not even clearly the best team in the AFC East.

9. Cleveland Browns
Record: 5-4
Previous position: 15 (+6)
The Browns should be complete at some point in the near future. And at that time, they will be a great team. For now, they are one good enough to stay in the fight.
10. Los Angeles Chargers
Record: 5-3
Previous position: 12 (+2)
They were urged to win, that’s a fact, and if they can live up to expectations, they can end up being the champion of their division.
11. New England Patriots
Record: 5-4
Previous position: 14 (+3)
The time is coming to recognize that Bill Belichick is having a great season maximizing the talent at his disposal.
12. Pittsburgh Steelers

It seems that what Big Ben has left in the tank is enough to get the Steelers into the postseason. Or to, at least, have them in the fight.
13. Las Vegas Raiders

Losing to the Giants is completely out of what one expected of the AFC West leader. Let’s see if, after so many scandals, they are able to stay afloat in the fight for the playoffs.
14. New Orleans Saints
Record: 5-3
Previous position: 11 (-3)
Jameis Winston’s injury seriously jeopardizes the Saints’ aspirations in 2021. Let’s see if Sean Payton is able to find a way to win without him, soon.
15. Kansas City Chiefs
Record: 5-4
Previous position: 16 (+1)
They won their match this week, but the problems are still there. At this time it is difficult to dare to give a forecast of where these Chiefs will finish within the AFC.
16. Cincinnati Bengals
Record: 5-4
Previous position: 10 (-6)
Are they a bad team? Not at all. Are they good enough to keep placing you in the Top 10? No, neither. The inexperience of this team is its greatest enemy.

17. Indianapolis Colts

The win over the Jets suggests that Frank Reich has a way of preserving the Colts’ aspirations, and he’s talented enough to think he can do it.

I don’t think anyone expected a win over the Cowboys, least of all one that was so clear. If they can build on what was done this week, then there is reason to be confident in the Broncos.
19. Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson’s return should have fans in Seattle buoyed. Now, having to face the Packers with Aaron Rodgers back shouldn’t create the same feeling.
20. Atlanta Falcons

Can anyone believe that the Falcons would be the third wild card in the NFC right now? Because that’s just what they are right now.
21. Minnesota Vikings
Record: 3-5
Previous position: 17 (-4)
It will be very interesting to see what the bottom line of the Kirk Cousins era in Minnesota is, although it is known as of now that it is not at all favorable.
22. Carolina Panthers
Record: 4-5
Previous position: 18 (-4)
Christian McCaffrey is back, and now it will be Sam Darnold who is absent. At some point the Panthers will be able to find out what they have on their roster, but right now is not the time.
23. San Francisco 49ers
Record: 3-5
Previous position: 20 (-3)
Will it be too early to proclaim Kyle Shanahan in the hot seat Or do we wait for the loss to come against the Rams to make it official?
24. Philadelphia Eagles
Record: 3-6
Previous position: 21 (-3)
If there were a category for moral victories, the Eagles would be one of the leaders of the 2021 NFL Season. But since that does not exist they are simply a team at the bottom of our list.

25. New York Giants
Record: 3-5
Previous position: 27 (=)
Thanks to the problems of several teams the Giants are officially in the hunt, so Joe Judge has a chance to avoid being fired at the end of the season.
26. Chicago Bears
Record: 3-6
Previous position: 25 (=)
The Bears must have confidence that Justin Fields will be fine in the future and will be their franchise QB. Now they just need to find the head coach who can help them do it.
27. New York Jets
Record: 2-6
Previous position: 26 (-1)
It looks like any substitute QB for the Jets can put on a great game right now. The problem is that their defense is doing nothing to support them.
28. Washington Football Team
Record: 2-6
Previous position: 28 (=)
Is there any reason to believe that this team can be resurrected after the bye week? Honestly not, especially not when his first post-BYE rival is Tampa Bay.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars
Record: 2-6
Previous position: 29 (=)
Did you see Urban Meyer’s face after the game they beat the Bills? It was, perhaps, the first time we’ve seen him smile since joining the Jaguars, and it makes sense: the win counts as surprising Alabama.
30. Miami Dolphins
Record: 2-7
Previous position: 30 (+1)
The good news: The Dolphins have moved up places in consecutive weeks. The bad news: they have been two steps, and starting from the last position. The worst: now it’s their turn to face Baltimore.
