Fangio, 63, began his NFL career in 1986 as a linebackers coach for the New Orleans Saints. In 2010, Fangio returned to the college ranks to be Stanford’s defensive coordinator before returning to the NFL the following year to be the defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers.
