The Ravens running back returns to an official game; these are the players who miss Week 3 of the season
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The corridor of the baltimore ravens, J. K. Dobbins is active for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriotsallowing him to play his first game in 20 months.
J. K. Dobbins he tore the anterior cruciate ligament, anterior cruciate ligament, meniscus and hamstring in his left leg in the final preseason game last year. He has not played an official match since January 2021.
It’s been a long road to recovery J. K. Dobbins, who came off the physically disabled list on August 8. He has fully participated in practices for the past two weeks.
The Ravens’ usually dominant running game has struggled this season with Kenyan Drake Y Mike Davis. Baltimore running backs have totaled 79 rushing yards, the fewest for any group of running backs this year.
When asked what it would take for Dobbins to play, the Los Angeles coach ravens, John Harbaughhe said Friday: “We have certain parameters that we’re looking at. It’s not going to take too long.”
J. K. Dobbins23, was electrifying as a rookie after being a second-round pick in 2020. He showed explosiveness, rushing for 805 yards (averaging 6 yards per carry) and scoring nine touchdowns.
The ravens expected that Dobbins became their No. 1 running back last season before he suffered a season-ending knee injury in last year’s final game. As a result, harbaugh he kept most of his starters out of this year’s preseason.
In the past week, Dobbins He acknowledged it’s been “super hard” being patient while his knee healed and said he’s extremely motivated to prove doubters on social media wrong.
