Fantasy Football Lessons, Week 10: AJ Dillon is a League Winner, Time to Sell Antonio Gibson

Russell Wilson played one of his worst games, the Browns were beaten by the Patriots and the Cowboys were the Cowboys again. Here are the most important lessons learned in Fantasy football – Week 10 NFL 2021.

Rhamondre Stevenson is a great option without Damien Harris

Patriots starting RB Damien Harris was injured so Stevenson had to handle the main role of the team and he did it in a great way with 56% snaps and 58% carries. His running routes are low and his utilization is not the best, but behind this offensive line and with this running game system, practically any talented RB can score a TD in the red zone. The Oklahoma rookie broke five tackles in the game.

AJ Dillon may be a league-winner.

Dillon managed the entire backfield for the Packers once Aaron Jones unfortunately suffered an injury to his MCL. In those snaps, he had more than three carries for more than ten yards in addition to breaking more than four tackles. Dillon’s talent has always been undeniable and now with volume he is a RB Top 12

Buy cheap from AJ Brown

AJ Brown has been two consecutive games without being able to separate or create a difference in the Titans, the same was experienced in the past before his breakout. Let’s be patient with someone who runs all the team routes and has proven to be one of the best WRs in the NFL.

Greater risers and fallers from week 10

Here are the players who fell the most and fell the most in my Fantasy Football rankings:

Risers:

  • RB Mark Ingram – Saints: He handled 85% of snaps, being one of the highest-volume RBs in the entire NFL. He had a poor ERA game with just 2.70 yards after carry contact, but volume is king in Fantasy Football.
  • TE Tyler Conklin – Vikings: Ran 77% of the team’s routes and drove a target share 15%, which, despite being low, is the second highest on the team behind only Justin Jefferson. It has proven to be one of the best TE of the season.
  • WR Ray-Ray- McLoud – Steelers: It was the Steelers’ third WR in utilization, but ran 82% of the team’s routes and had 25% of target share. If Rudolph is still the starter or Claypool is still injured, McLoud could be a relevant option in deep leagues.
  • RB Antonio Gibson – Washington Football Team: After four weeks, he came back to dominate this backfield and played close but not equal to the Gibson we know. He had a poor average yardage after contact per carry, but had good volume with 63% of snaps and 80% of team carries.

Fallers:

  • TE Adam Trautman – Saints: Last week it was a simple mirage what we saw of this player in use as he shared with Juwan Johnson again and the magic is over. This is a clear committee and we should never trust Trautman again even with a good week.
  • WR Marquez Callaway – Saints: This player only ran 77% of the routes and did not receive more than four targets, so his use was very poor and less than what we are used to.
  • RB Myles Gaskin – Dolphins: Gaskin was only at 60% snaps and played like one of the worst RBs with a low ERA. Don’t trust this player who shares a backfield with Salvon Ahmed and Patrick Laird.

Buy low, sell high

  • Buy cheap from Josh Jacobs: This player only had 8 FF points, but the reality is that he had an increase in snaps and is coming back from his injury. He had 57% snaps which is an increase from 49 last week. The arrow goes up with this player and this is the time to buy it.
  • Sell expensive to Antonio Gibson: It pains me to say this, but the reality is that not every Gibson game will have two TDs and with 63% snaps, it’s impossible to do without them. It does not have an established aerial role and is not extremely dominant on the ground either. I’d look for a RB Top 15 to replace it,
