The night began with a party for those led by the Argentine Gustavo Alfaro with an own goal by Renato Tapia (23) and Ayrton Preciado (45 + 3), but the smiles of the ‘Tri’ disappeared with goals from Lapadula (49) and André Carrillo (54). Brazil remains the leader of Group B with six points and will face Colombia this Wednesday, which with four points seeks to seal its pass to the next round.

Peru also with four will go on the last date before Venezuela that adds two points, while Ecuador with two units will face an intractable ‘Canarinha’.

With the arbitration of a Spanish triad led by Jesus Gil Manzano, Gareca and Alfaro planted their teams with a line of four in defense and solitary forwards: the ‘Italian’ Lapadula for the Incas and Leonardo Campana for an Ecuadorian team that played without the scorer Enner Valencia, suspended.

Ecuador traveled the field better in the first fifteen minutes, against a Peruvian team that had a hard time standing. With no real danger in the areas, a mid-distance free kick left in the hands of Pedro Gallese was the most encouraging at first. True to its essence, Ecuador pressed well up and Peru tried to play.

And at 24 minutes, the best gait of the Ecuadorians was rewarded with a low center from the left that ended in a rejection attempt by Tapia who got into his own goal.

Ecuador up and start again for Gareca’s men who had recovered with a victory against Colombia (2-1) from the defeat they received in their debut at the hands of Brazil (4-0).

Opposite, Ecuador had suffered a 1-0 defeat against Colombia and a bitter 2-2 draw against Venezuela. The goal seemed to awaken the lethargy of Peru, but it was only a mirage and his rival without being a marvel kept coming.

Head Robert Arboleda found Gallese’s hands and in the first period discounts a center, this time on the right, finished with a definition of Preciado for 2-0.

But in the first play Peru warned that he was alive. The ‘Italian’ Lapadula debuted in the networks of this Copa América with a goal that put the Incas in a game. Christian Cueva enabled the Benevento player who did not forgive in the area.

Lapadula himself led a furious counterattack five minutes later and enabled Carrillo, who relentlessly put the 2-2 on the scoreboard. The blow threatened to knock out the Ecuadorians and on the court the duel became spicy.

Ecuador looked for more, but the trade of the Incas was enough to seal the duel in a less painful 2-2 for Peru.
