Jonathan Taylor, once the NFL’s leading rusher, is going through a tough season plagued by injuries
INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Colts All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylorwill miss his third game of the season on Sunday due to a lingering ankle injury.
The ankle injury worsened Jonathan Taylorsuffered on Sunday against the Washington Commanders, and will not play in the Week 9 road game of the Colts against the New England Patriots.
Given the repeated injury, the Colts might have to change things with taylor to “give him the rest he needs,” said the coach on Friday Frank Reich.
“I thought we had a chance, that I could progress a little bit more this week, but it wasn’t like that,” he reported. Reich. “So we have to be smart, do the right thing for the player and do the right thing for the team.”
