Tijuana, Baja California.- A few hours before defining the scenarios for the playoffs, the LFA commissioner, Alejandro Jaimes, together with the president of Galgos, Miguel Torres Ley, announced that the Caliente Stadium will be the venue for the Tazón México v.

The appearance of Galgos de Tijuana, with their tickets in these two games at home, breaking the attendance record with 14,000 fans on the first day and 15,500 in their second game, decided the LFA to initiate the request to make Tijuana, the venue for the Bowl Mexico V.

“It is a source of pride and honor to be able to make this announcement and I want to thank the Hank family and Miguel for accepting the challenge of bringing national football to Tijuana; being part of the entrepreneurs who inject the growth of the league”, Alejandro Jaimes expressed. “One of the most important things is that we feel more at home every time we come to Tijuana. Without a doubt, it is a great city, ready to receive a show like the one we are going to present”.

In the history of the LFA bowls it has been possible to see the growth and the attraction for the people because in the first edition there were 3,000 attendees, the second and last in the Palillo Martínez was 5,000. For the Tazón México III there were 17,000 fans and, repeating the scenario for the fourth edition at the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium, 18,000 people registered. The challenge will be to aspire to the 20,000 fans for Tazón México V, which, although very ambitious, has the possibility of reaching the goal.

“We have a good operating team, we can see that people leave very happy with the show that is offered and although we have felt that the growth of Galgos has been faster than anticipated, we are very happy to be part of this experience,” commented Miguel Torres Ley. “Bringing you the Bowl Mexico V is like a prize to our fans, which are undoubtedly the best in the LFA.”

The date for “the grand finale” will be Saturday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. (Tijuana time, 9:00 p.m. Central time). Prices will be hovering between 150 and 350 pesos. There will be an artist for halftime which will be announced later.

In addition to the Bowl, there will also be other activities such as a Fan zone, a media day and a training session prior to open doors to enhance the experience.

Finally, the commissioner thanked the sponsors that have been accompanying the LFA this season, such as New Era, Wilson, Electrolit, Medimex and of course Grupo Caliente.

After two years of waiting, the LFA came back with a bang and without a doubt Tijuana will close with a flourish for this very special season.
