With an agreement signed by Santiago Carreras, manager of the Institutional Relations Department of YPF and Fabian Borro, president of the Argentine Basketball Confederation (CABB) in the Sanitary Works Club, the alliance by which YPF will from now on be the main sponsor of Argentine basketball.

What’s more, Facundo Campazzo will carry out joint actions as the main image of this alliance between YPF and national basketball, involving its men’s and women’s teams. In this way, the company continues to deepen its bond with the Argentine sport.

“Some time ago we began to walk the path of linking YPF with sports and national culture. Today we are accompanying all the Federations to contribute to the development of young people who practice sports ”, said Santiago Carreras.

“Today with this signature We started a relationship with the men’s and women’s basketball teams and we are going to promote the growth that sport is having in the country ”, concluded Carreras.

During the event, also sand he made the farewell “El Alma Argentina”, the men’s team that will prepare for the Olympic Games from Tokyo in Las Vegas.

Pablo González, president of YPF, Sergio Affronti, CEO and Leandro Caruso, CMO of the company were present. In addition, the president of the Argentine Basketball Confederation, Fabián Borro, the technical director of the Men’s National Team, Sergio “Oveja” Hernández and the technical director of the Women’s National Team, Gregorio Martínez, participated.

Also present were Melisa Gretter, Agostina Burani, Andrea Boquete, Agustina Garcia, Camila Suárez, Máximo Fjellerup, Nicolás Brusino, Lautaro Berra, all members of the national teams.

This agreement reinforces YPF’s commitment to support national sport in its different expressions and joins the current sponsorships such as the Argentine teams of soccer, tennis and different categories of motorsport, among other disciplines.
