Los Angeles Clippers ensured their passage to the conference finals in the playoffs of the NBA, after leaving the Utah Jazz on the road after six games played. Despite Kawhi Leonard’s absence, Californians found in a young man Terance mann the offensive kick they needed. Mann scored 39 points Friday night and became the sensation of the entire team’s fans.
He is a 24-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, who is in his second season in the NBA. He played for the Florida State Seminoles for four seasons and appeared in the 2019 draft, finally being selected by the Clippers in the second round with the 48th pick.

He has played a total of 108 games in the league, starting only 16 of them and always from his responsibility as a role player. Average 5.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in 15 minutes per
match.

In the 2020-21 season he showed a clear improvement in terms of effectiveness, scoring 50% of his shots and 40% of his attempts behind the three-point line.
In the current season Mann is receiving a salary of $ 1.5 million as part of his rookie agreement, which ties him at a minimum until the 2021-22 season. He has a potential for renewal for 2022-23, however it is the team that must make the decision, although after his great level against the Jazz, surely they will not think of letting him go.
