It has been two years since this type of meeting has been held and that has been the central reason why an activity in this regard has been organized for this weekend.
The idea came from one of the members of the Board of Directors and a member of the women’s group who train at the National Basketball Club.
Indeed, Nadia Vargas warned that it was time for a new meeting and, taking advantage of the opportunity of the arrival of LUBA from Uruguayana, which will be in our city this weekend, other institutions were invited.
Although it was not possible to achieve the presence of all those who were invited, because they were not in activity, it could be achieved with the presence of the Tacuarembó Sports Center and the local Sarandí University.
They will be playing a quadrangular contest, which is much more than competitive, it is a meeting of women’s basketball with the purpose of fraternizing as a first step so that, before the end of the year, something more competitive can be organized.
The international women’s basketball meeting will take place this Saturday at the “Pedro Saldanha” Gymnasium of the National Basketball Club, and will adjust to the following details:
