The third time was the charm

Joventut de Badalona defeated Baskonia at home for the third day of the ACB League in Spain. Jayson Granger’s team was left undefeated.

In the match corresponding to the third date of the Spanish first division championship, the faces Joventut and Baskonia were seen. The former came from falling to Obradoiro as visitors, while the latter, in their last presentation, had defeated Fuenlabrada at home.

Finally, Joventut was left with the victory by 72 to 61 and thus achieved his second victory in the tournament and took the undefeated from the Basque team.

The winner was the figure of Slovak Vladimir Brodziansky, who scored 17 points and captured 7 rebounds, followed by Ante Tomic with 15 points. On the losing side, Wade Baldwin IV finished as the leading scorer with 23 points.

Uruguayan point guard Jayson Granger spent 23:48 minutes on the court, in which he contributed 6 points (1/3 triples, 1/5 doubles and 1/2 free), 5 assists and 2 steals, for a total valuation of 2.

The next commitment of our compatriot’s team will be on Friday, when in his debut in the Euroleague he will have to visit Olympiacos. While for the local tournament he will be active again in a week, facing Manresa as a visitor.
