The Cuban revealed that, in his eagerness to recover from his injury, he has not seen his family for three years and was not with them when his father died: “I changed two summers from not coming home to try to save my career, but the point has come and this year I am going to go see my mother. I had the loss of my father and I couldn’t go to say goodbye to give a plus in the sport. I don’t regret it, but this year I couldn’t say I played”.
