The men’s Unicaja Andalucía Infantil will play the preliminary phase of the Endesa Mini Cup starting this Tuesday. The people of Malaga, led by manolo bazanare framed in Group A together with Cajasiete Canarias, Fundación 5+11 Baskonia and Bàsquet Girona.
The 16 teams participating in the Preliminary Phase of the Endesa Mini Cup will be divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each, disputing a league all against all within each group. The top teams in each group will qualify directly for the Final Phase of the Endesa Mini Cup, which will be held in Badalona during the celebration of the Copa del Rey. The second classified of each group will play the qualifiers to obtain the last two places for the Final Phase.
The compositor staff at this event in Valencia is made up of: Gonzalo Nuño Castro, Miguel González Día, Alejandro Polo Pinto, Daniel Sierra Velasco, Ricardo Berrocal Ortega, Antonio Jesús Martínez Fernández, Marcos Montes Camacho, Alejandro López Guerrero, Elías Ibadín Sánchez, Oliver Díaz Fernández, Sergio Arroyo Cervera and Alejandro Montenegro Moya.
Before traveling this Monday, Manolo Bazán assessed how the young players are facing this appointment: “The team arrives at the top, with enthusiasm and with the peace of mind to play those games, which will be important. We are in a difficult group, like everyone. All the teams are going to compete, so we’ll go game by game.. First, Fundación 5+11 Baskonia, then Bàsquet Girona and, finally, Cajasiete Tenerife”.
The coach hopes that his players “are not nervous, but that they go with desire, enthusiasm and calm. Anything that goes faster than necessary is not good for these games. We are training well and we have to go like that, with confidence, and do our best.
The greens will debut this Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. against the 5+11 Baskonia Foundation. On Wednesday he will play a double game. In the morning, from 10 am, against the Basketball Girona and in the evening, from 5:00 p.m., in front of the Box seven Canaries. On Thursday 8, the last day of the Qualifying Phase will be played, with the following matches being played: 10:00 am: 2nd Group A – 2nd Group B and 12:15 pm: 2nd Group C – 2nd Group D (Fonteta)
