The Municipality of Córdoba, through the Subsecretariat of Sports and Recreation, dependent on the Secretary of Government, together with the Cordovan Basketball Association organize a Basketball Super 3 × 3 for girls between 10 and 17 years old, of initial level and intermediate non-competitive.
The realization of this original initiative is scheduled for Sunday, October 31, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the General Paz Sports Center.
The purpose of the meeting is to create a space for competition between the players of the different categories of this sport and to motivate the growth and development of each player, favoring the incorporation of habits of physical and social development, respect and teamwork.
“We are very happy to continue to bring basketball closer to people, especially women. We have already done it with the organization of two women’s campuses and the creation of the first Municipal League of women’s basketball. Now with this Women’s Mini Basketball Super 3×3. Our goal is to develop a project that enhances women’s basketball. For that we need to generate, design and plan sports promotion policies “said Medardo Ligorria, Undersecretary of Sports and Recreation.
HOW TO TAKE PART?
The event is free and is open to clubs affiliated with the Cordoba Basketball Association, Neighborhood Centers, social and neighborhood organizations, schools and educational parks. If a girl wishes to participate and does not have a club, the teachers of the Undersecretariat will assign her equipment.
