The current defending champions of the NBAthe milwaukee bucksentered a casualty on their injured list, as according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Pat Connaughton suffered a fourth metacarpal fracture of his right hand.
The 29-year-old shooting guard suffered this injury in the Bucks’ defeat against the phoenix suns last Thursday, this being a sensitive loss for the Milwaukee team, due to the excellent production of the player in the campaign.
This Monday, Connaughton is expected to undergo a surgical intervention to repair the damage to his hand, being able to return before the end of the regular season.

fulfilling its role
Connaughton has been an excellent backup player this season for the Bucks, averaging 10.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, nearly a steal per game (0.9), with an excellent 3-point shooting percentage of 40.7.
The Bucks are fourth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 35 wins and 22 losses, qualifying directly for the playoffs so far.

This week Milwaukee has a calendar in which they will face this Monday the 14th the Portland Trail Blazerstomorrow Tuesday the 15th to the Indiana Pacers, and on Thursday the 17th to the Philadelphia 76ers, before the start of the All Star Weekend on Friday, February 18.
