Within the framework of the National Program for Sports Strengthening, andl Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (Issste) will make the National Day of Women’s Sports 2022 of basketball and volleyballfrom September 6 to 10, in the State of Mexico.
During the raffle for group formationcarried out at the facilities of the “José Solé” Forum, the normative director of Economic, Social and Cultural Benefits, Yezmín Lehmann Mendoza, indicated that on the instructions of the head of the institute, Pedro Zenteno Santaella, the Issste promotes and motivates entitlement to be part of these actions that promote self-care of health.
“With these events we promote family and sports integration, while we teach workers the benefits of seeking and safeguarding their well-being to avoid chronic-degenerative diseases,” he said.
In a virtual meeting, in the presence of the 10 team representatives and accompanied by the head of Sports Development Services, Martha Mayen García, Lehmann Mendoza held the raffle to form the groups in which each squad will participate in the basketball and volleyball tournaments, being as follows:
Basketball:
- Group A: Mexico City North, Chihuahua, Morelos, Querétaro and Mexico City West
- Group B: State of Mexico, Colima, East Mexico City, Tabasco and Zacatecas.
Volleyball:

Group A: Mexico City West, Chihuahua, Tabasco, Zacatecas and Mexico City East.

Group B: State of Mexico, North Mexico City, Colima, Morelos and Querétaro.
In the National Day of Women’s Sports 2022 220 workers will participate in 48 games, of which 24 correspond to volleyball and 24 to basketball.
