For the first time, the “health pass” will be requested at sporting events

Starting tomorrow, Friday, the “Health Pass” will begin to be required for the first time in our province at sporting events. In this way, the first to make it effective will be the South American Beach Volleyball Circuit in its 2nd stage, and at night, the Argentine Basketball League with Jáchal BC receiving Central Ceres de Santa Fé from 9:00 p.m. at the stadium Pope Francis, while the Prologue of the Giro del Sol from 10 pm, will also require this sanitary requirement.

To attend, the “health pass” must be presented, entering into force for the first time in a sporting event in our province. For this reason, a complete vaccination scheme is an essential requirement for all people involved in the aforementioned sporting events, presenting the health pass through the Cuidar or My Argentina app, or displaying the health card with the two required doses.

The protocols of these sporting events provide for compliance with the regulations for all participants, which include athletes, organization, journalism and the public present. The most important points to keep in mind are the following:

All athletes who arrive in our province must present themselves with a negative 72-hour PCR, a sworn declaration of NO COVID symptoms and a complete vaccination schedule with both doses. Those who arrive from abroad, in addition to what was previously requested, must present COVID insurance, as required by our country. National and provincial athletes must present a health pass or complete vaccination card.

Social distancing, physical contact and the use of a mask / mask are mandatory throughout the premises of all participating delegations, as well as referees and tournament staff. Hand washing is mandatory before entering any enclosed area. For this, sinks will be available with what is necessary for proper sanitation. Athletes who do not comply with biosafety protocols will be exposed to sanctions and / or eliminated from the tournament or competition.

To the athletes / organization who need to present a negative PCR to return to their countries of origin, 72 hours before the return, the organization will provide the swab at no cost, which will take place on Saturday, January 8 and will be delivered prior to departure.

The public and journalists that are going to attend will be required to obtain a mandatory “Health Pass”, or to present the health card with the two doses of vaccination. Also the permanent use of chinstrap or mask and not to share drinks, mate, or any other element. It is recommended to distance yourself, try to stay, as far as possible, according to the event, in open environments and maintain distance.
