Bronze for the UAEM 3×3 Basketball team in the National University Championship


The representative of the burst sport of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) in the men’s branch obtained the bronze medal within the 3 × 3 National University Basketball Championship held in Cancun, Quintana Roo, by prevailing by 17-15 to the Model University.

The varsity team is represented by Diego Chávez Lara from the School of Accounting and Administration, Brad González Campos from the School of Languages, Alec González Campos from the School of Engineering and Marco Gutiérrez Pineda from the School of Behavioral Sciences.

Upon winning the medal, the university coach Torres Barrueta, Proud of their elements said who with effort and dedication obtained the medal in a very close meeting, where they barely managed to overcome the rival with a difference of two points.

UAEM will continue to participate in national tournaments in the disciplines of table tennis, basketball and indoor volleyball in the men’s and women’s branches.
