Jayson Granger’s Baskonia defeated Monaco at home and added their third consecutive victory in the Euroleague.

In the match corresponding to the fifth date of the most important club tournament on the old continent, Baskonia and Monaco faced each other. The former came from beating Alba Berlin in Germany, while the latter came from falling at home to Barcelona. Those led by Dusko Ivanovic took to the field with Jayson Granger, Simone Fontecchio, Rokas Giedraitis, Matt Costello and Landry Nnoko from Cameroon. For their part, those led by Zvezdan Mitrovic began with Leo Westermann, Mike James, Yakuba Ouattara, Jerry Boutsiele and the Lithuanian Donatas Motiejunas.

Uruguayan point guard Jayson Granger scored 12 points (1/3 triples, 3/3 doubles and 3/4 free), grabbed 2 rebounds and distributed 6 assists in the 24:30 minutes that he remained on the court, reaching a total valuation of 19.

The next commitment of our compatriot’s team in the continental competition will be on Wednesday, when as a visitor they have to face Unics Kazan. While for the ACB League he will be active again on Sunday, visiting UCAM Murcia.
