Basketball: Tokio and Miter the only missionaries in the Federal League – Canal Doce Misiones

The 2023 edition of the League is advancing in its development stage. With 130 teams from 22 provinces, the Regular Phase will have a total of 1,100 matches. There will be promotions at stake for the Argentine League.

A total of 72 teams have already confirmed their presence in the tournament that has a start date for January 28, among them tokyo Y Bartholomew Miter. Both will be the only missionary casts that confirmed their participation. They were champion and semifinalist of the Provincial League.

However, the other two missionary teams that earned their spot are Tirica from Eldorado and Siglo XXI from Puerto Ricothey did not meet the stipulated deadlines.. They would still have a chance to enter.

These 72 clubs are the ones that the sports federations and regions reported as classified. In turn, they completed the payment of the first part of the registration and ratified their participation until December 9, which was the deadline.

how to play

The teams will be divided into eight zones/regions and these in turn will be divided into two groups. The Regular Phase will be played in 15 weeks. The first two teams will qualify for Play Off, it will end on May 14.

The teams located from 5th to 8th place will play the Play In instance (5th vs 8th and 6th vs 7th, on May 20). Later, the two winners will face the teams located in the 3rd and 4th position (May 27).

The four finalists of each subzone will play the Playoff in three games (May 31, June 3 and 4). This will result in the four winners from each region.

The crosses between regions will be given to the best of three games, it will begin with the 16th Final. The 2023 Federal League finals are scheduled for the end of July.

16th Final – June 16, 20 and 21

8th Final – June 26 and 30, July 1

4th Final – July 6, 10 and 11

Semifinal – July 16, 20 and 21

Final – July 25, 29 and 30
