The representatives of the San Nicolás Basketball Association have already met their rivals for the start of the CAB 1 Sports Region tournament, which will begin this week. Valid for both the male and female branch and for the First Division and the Lower Division, this competition brings together 35 clubs from the north of the province of Buenos Aires and the South of Santa Fe. Among them are Somisa, Regatas, Belgrano from our city, more Defensores and Los Andes from Villa Ramallo, Sacachispas and Riberas de Villa Constitución.
On the men’s side, in the First for Group A Somisa will make his debut facing Temperley. This match would be played on Thursday at the Belgrano field as part of the opening ceremony of the championship. They will also play University-Talleres de Arroyo Seco. Free: United Youth of Cañada Rosquín.
In Group B, Belgrano will visit Rosario Central and Sportsmen Unidos-Santa Paula de Gálvez will also play.
In C, Regatas will also appear in Rosario, in this case against Provincial. In the other clash, Atalaya and Sportivo Las Parejas will be measured.

In the Primera Riberas he will integrate Group A together with Náutico and Ben Hur, against which he will debut on the first date. Regattas, meanwhile, will share the B with Rosario Central and Villa Gobernador Gálvez workshops; the latter his first opponent in the contest. Finally, neither Sacachispas nor Belgrano will compete as reported by the organization.
In Sub-17 Regatas he will be part of Group B together with Central and Talleres de Villa Gobernador Gálvez, his first rival, and in A will be Náutico, Temperley, Ben Hur (all from Rosario), plus Sportivo Rojas. And in Sub-14 Belgrano was included in Group A with Náutico, Temperley, Ben Hur, making his debut against Náutico; and Regattas in B, with Central and Gimnasia de Pergamino, his opponent at the start of the season.
The opening ceremony of the championship would take place this Thursday at the “Fortunato Bonelli” stadium of the Club Belgrano, with the match between Somisa and Temperley for the men’s First.
