Argentine basketball league: surprise elimination of Depo Viedma

The elimination of Deportivo Viedma in the semifinals of the Argentine Basketball League Conference, against Quilmes de Mar del Plata, it is surprising for several reasons.

The Rio Negro team had been the best of the 14 that played the regular phase in an edition where the pandemic forced them to play in different venues. Now, The Mar del Plata team will play the final of the Conference against Villa Miter de Bahía Blanca in the Rio Negro capital and the winner of that series will go against the one that prevails in the definition of the North between Unión de Santa Fe and Villa San Martín.
