Santiago de Compostela, March 19 (EFE).- Shooting guard Darío Brizuela (24 points, PIR of 24) led Unicaja’s resounding victory against Monbus Obradoiro (71-85), with which he ended their worrying crisis of results, against a rival who was in tow throughout the first half and broke down in the second, when he struggled against the offensive festival of the people of Malaga.
The Galician coach, Moncho Fernández, had warned in the preview that his team’s options would be to match the physical battle of his rival. He was not wrong. With a suffocating defense, Unicaja destroyed Obradoiro. The partial 3-11 start was a sign of what would happen throughout the match.
