World Baseball Classic Qualifying dates announced

The World Baseball Classic, Inc. announced on Thursday the schedule for the qualifying rounds for the 2023 event. The qualifiers will be played in Regensburg, Germany, at the Armin-Wolf-Arena, between September 16 and 21, and in the City of Panama, Panama, at the Rod Carew National Stadium, between September 30 and October 5.

Germany, the Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, South Africa and Spain will play in Regensburg. While in Panama City, Panama, Argentina, Brazil, New Zealand, Nicaragua and Pakistan will do the same.

The two best teams from each venue will advance to the World Classic to be played in March.

All knockout round games will be streamed on the World Baseball Classic’s YouTube channel and Facebook pages, as well as on the World Baseball Classic website. WorldBaseballClassic.com and in MLB.TV.
