The controversy has been present in recent days in the middle of the MLB since the discussion about which player should win the Most Valuable Player MVP of the Season 2021 award of MLB. The main contenders for this award are Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Shohei Ohtani, but now a MLB awards voter has stated that there is no way Vladdy Jr. will get it.
MLB awards voter and journalist Jon Heyman recently stated that the competition for the MVP Most Valuable Player award would already have a clear winner and it would be Shohei Ohtani.
Heyman’s words were on the side that there is no way that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will snatch the award from the Japanese Regardless of the fact that I win the Triple Crown batting, something that is not easy either.
In a broadcast of the MLB channel, they talked about this issue and it was commented that the Anaheim Angels player would already be defined since July due to what he has done as a hitter and pitcher.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has already surpassed Shohei Ohtani in the home run lead at the time in the 2021 MLB Season, as the former has 45 full-back hits, while the Japanese has 44.
