Vladimir Guerrero Jr. reveals his Dominican Republic ‘dream team’ for the World Classic

There is no doubt that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is having a great season this year in MLB and it’s a favorite to take home on American League MVP. He has certainly improved a lot since his season rookie in 2019 and a shortened campaign in 2020 where he struggled a lot, but is showing that talent He carries it in his genes and he can become one of the best in all of the Major Leagues.

Without a doubt, the Dominican Republic is one of the countries that has to contribute more baseball talent to the Major Leagues, and the World Baseball Classic is perhaps the only event in which we will be able to see all the great players of the Dominican Republic, and Vladdy Jr. himself. has told the MLB.com show, ‘Call to the Bullpen’ what his dream team is for the next World Baseball Classic.

My lineup for the Clásico would be Starling Marte, Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto, myself, Nelson Cruz, Rafael Devers, José Ramírez, Teoscar Hernández and Ketel Marte.

A real blunderbuss what Vladdy Jr. has in mind?

I am a fan of the San Francisco Giants, a number one defender of Barry Bonds and a critic of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto and Ronald Acuña are the future of baseball, Mike Trout is overrated, and the Astros deserved to be taken away from the World Series for cheating. Besides baseball, I also enjoy soccer, football, basketball, and just about any other game that includes a ball or a ball. I am also an amateur musician, penniless gamer and very nerdy.
