This Thursday, September 30, it was announced that Luis Alfredo Rivas-Clase, one of the main suspects of having committed the attack against David Ortiz, was assassinated last weekend in Puerto Rico. According to various media, the man who would have attacked the former player of Boston Red Sox He died of a gunshot wound outside a shopping center.

WCVB journalist Nathalie Pozo reported that Luis Alfredo Rivas-Clase was shot and killed by attackers with unknown identity last Sunday in Puerto Rico. The TMZ portal expanded the information by adding that the attack was outside a shopping center.

According to information from TMZ, the attackers were chasing the man’s car and opened fire on him as he tried to leave the mall area.

Luis Alfredo Rivas-Clase was one of the men involved in the attack against David Ortiz, who was attacked with firearms in 2019 as he left a bar in the East of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

So far it is unknown if the attack on Rivas-Clase has any relation to the case of the former MLB player, but it is known that he was the only suspect who was still being sought by the police.
